Victoria & Alexander
Amstel Hotel, Amsterdam
When Victoria approached me to create bespoke floral arrangements for her wedding at the Amstel Hotel in Amsterdam, I was thrilled to turn her vision into reality through opulent high centrepieces and a modern round wedding bouquet. I handpicked the finest white garden roses, including the exquisite Alabaster variety, alongside pristine white hydrangeas, luxurious orchids, and delicate baby's breath. This floral composition, exclusively featuring roses, orchids, baby's breath, and hydrangeas arranged in clusters, captures the elegance of modern wedding style design. Seamlessly blending with the splendid classical interior of the historic Amstel Hotel, the result was an enchanting and magical celebration for Victoria and Alexander on their special day.

Style: modern and classic;
Kind words:
"The most beautiful flowers I could imagine for my wedding! My wedding bouquet's special roses (like a cloud of sweets and happiness) and the stunning table decorations were done by an amazing florist, Katya. The flower decorations underpinned the atmosphere of the wedding so well! She mentioned that typically people start discussing the floral arrangements a year in advance, and we managed to align in just a couple of calls from start to finish! Considering the timeline was quite tight, we were lucky that Katya was available and managed to arrange everything so quickly and passionately for our big day! From the moment I met her, I instantly knew that she is who I was looking for! Her taste, attention to detail, and positive vibe turned my wishes into reality immaculately. It was exquisite✨ Thank you for making this piece of art! I would highly recommend Katya to anybody looking for floral arrangements!" - Victoria

Paola & Peter
Landgoed de Salentein
This wedding floral design was crafted for a Nikon photography workshop of a talented The Hague fine-art photographer Jose Chan. I'm genuinely fond of the delicate fine-art style, and used an assortment of fine blooms including spray roses, sweet peas, and lisianthus, along with complementary supporting flowers. To enhance this soft colour palette, I used my favorite seasonal foliage, Italian eucalyptus, renowned for its distinct soft color gradient that transitions from subtle green to gentle peach and beige, influenced by temperature shifts between day and night. The result? An utterly harmonious effect that perfectly complements this particular look!

Mari & Rutger
Museum Van Loon & Pulitzer, Amsterdam
The story of this remarkable couple is incredibly touching: Rutger, a Dutch gentleman, embarked on a journey across the world to Japan to reunite with his love, Mari, who took the bold step of leaving her job to be with him. The two of them reached out to me directly, their vision was remarkably clear. They desired for opulent, romantic, and unique floral arrangements. Their chosen colour scheme embraced shades of brown, dusty pink, and peach – truly, a dream assignment! I handpicked over two dozen exquisite late spring floral varieties, which included Mari's favourite brownie tulips, Cafe Latte roses, lilies, garden roses, sweet peas, eremurus, and other premium blossoms. Their ceremony, set in one of Amsterdam's finest gardens at Museum Van Loon, was a realization of their dreams. The roses were still in full bloom, harmoniously enhancing our carefully chosen colour palette. I must confess, this wedding holds a special place among my favorites.
Colour scheme: cream, peach, brown, dusty pink, soft green;
Style: lush, romantic, natural;
Kind words: " Katya was our floral designer on the wedding day. Her flower art was amazing and all of our guests loved it! Katya never rushed and took her time for us. During the meetings her passion for flowers showed and it was such fun to talk with her. If we ever have an event again and we need flowers, we will definitely be asking Katya again.", Rutger & Mari

Edwin & Nick
Our Lord in the Attic Museum, Amsterdam
I have had the pleasure of knowing Edwin Oudshoorn, a prominent Dutch fashion designer and couturier, and have collaborated with him on several styled shoots in the past. When he and his partner Nick approached me to handle their wedding flowers, I was truly elated! This was not just any wedding; it presented an opportunity to collaborate with another creative mind, a true Artist. Edwin is celebrated for his boundless creativity and impeccable taste. Our collaboration was thoughtfully curated and distinct, with Edwin, Nick, and myself working closely together to meticulously choose the perfect blooms and capture their favoured style - natural, botanical, wild, and yet elegantly refined.
An intriguing challenge arose due to the historic significance of the church venue, a 17th-century protected monument, located in the heart of Amsterdam's city center and functioning as a museum. Fresh flowers were prohibited within its walls, prompting us to embark on a unique endeavor: crafting silk flowers that mirrored the appearance of fresh ones. I'm thrilled to say that our efforts bore fruit, as the illusion we sought to create was successfully achieved.
Colour Palette: a daring mix of white, yellow, peach, lavender, purples, and pinks;
Style: a captivating blend of natural, wild, and elegant elements, with botanical influences;
Kind words:
"Dear Katya,
What you have made for our wedding is just incredible! Every floral piece was exquisite, and wonder over wonder, an incredible spring feeling, even in October! Exactly what we wanted but did not dare hope for because of the time of year.
We are so incredibly grateful to you that it is hard to express it in words. We have had such a wonderful day full of love and sit now in a sort of afterglow.
Many, MANY thanks.
Nick & Edwin"

Alannah & Victor
Chateau de Villette, Paris
This enchanting wedding styled shoot at one of Paris' most exquisite chateaus unfolded in the embrace of spring, when some of the most desired wedding flowers come into bloom - the splendid peonies. To infuse this floral design with exceptional charm, I chose the finest French variety, the sumptuous Bridal Shower Peony. These blooms were so voluminous and radiated luxury. I opted for a monochromatic approach, using exclusively white peonies arranged in a modern and contemporary manner. For the ceremony, a playful touch of white alliums was introduced.
Our gorgeous couple, Alannah & Victor, graced the magnificent interiors with glamour and beauty. The peonies perfectly complemented Alannah's fine features, adding to her radiant charm. The entire experience was magical, resulting in an exquisite outcome that truly captivates. I'm eagerly anticipating the prospect of returning to this chateau for future endeavors!

Susanne & Jordi
Waldorf Astoria, Amsterdam
Susanne remains one of my cherished clients, a true source of inspiration with impeccable taste. When she shared her vision for her wedding dinner table decoration, a concept where flowers seemingly "grow" from the table, I eagerly embraced the challenge. Drawing from the artistry of Japanese ikebana, I arranged an array of exquisite Dutch and French spring flowers within small ceramic vessels, seamlessly woven together using the Japanese Kenzan technique.
For Susanne's wedding bouquet, she had her heart set on cascading tulips, a request that posed its own challenges due to their delicate, soft stems prone to breakage. To bring this vision to life, I sourced the finest French tulips from the renowned Aalsmeer flower market, conveniently located just a brief 30-minute drive from Amsterdam. With meticulous care, I arranged these tulips in a cascading manner, defying expectations as they remained resilient and flawless throughout the day.
For the ceremony, we adorned the garden of one of Amsterdam's most captivating canal houses, the Museum Van Loon, with premium Dutch ranunculus, delicate ranunculus butterflies and an array of splendid spring blooms, including my personal favourite, sweet peas. The evening at the Waldorf Astoria was a highlight of this unforgettable day, culminating in a dinner that exuded the essence of elegance and beauty.
Colour scheme: white, peach, soft pink, light blue and soft green;
Style: romantic spring, natural and artistic;
Kind words:
"Katya is an exceptional floral designer. My husband and I worked with her on our wedding florals, and I cannot say enough nice things about her and her team. As a corporate event planner for more than 15 years, I have very high expectations, and Katya exceeded all of them. Katya is a fantastic communicator, and I felt at ease with her from our first meeting. Katya is extremely creative, professional, kind and executes her floral designs flawlessly. She made our day magical with her gorgeous floral design, and we could not be happier. Thank you Katya, I cannot wait to work with you again!" - Susanne

Emily & Tjeng-wee
Slot Zeist, The Netherlands
My delightful Chinese clients, Emily & Tjeng-wee, drew inspiration from my Japanese-style arrangements, entrusting me with realising their vision of romantic, natural, and opulent wedding flowers. Louise & Raymond
Waldorf Astoria, Amsterdam
A wonderful collaboration began when the lovely wedding planner Sabine from Over The Moon Weddings engaged me in a discussion about Louise & Raymond's wedding flowers. The intimate family gathering at the Waldorf Astoria was a heartwarming delight. I had the pleasure of meeting Louise & Raymond at the hotel before their wedding to understand their desires and requirements. The chosen color scheme was exiting: soft pinks and corals for the ceremony, with the addition of purples and reds for the dinner setup.
For these special wedding flowers, I used a selection of my favourite garden roses, French peonies, sweet peas, and an array of other spring blooms and foliage. The ceremony, set against the exquisite backdrop of the Waldorf Astoria garden, unfolded with romance and delight. The elegant dinner, adorned with red and purple hues of the flowers set against light blue linens, created a truly striking display. This particular dinner setup stands as one of my cherished table scape styles. I absolutely adore it!
Colour palette: soft pink, coral, red, purple, and lavender;
Style: natural, opulent, abundant spring garden;
Kind Words:
"Absolutely stunning! Katya is truly amazing, I was so in love with her work. The combination of the flowers and colors were so magical! Exactly how I imagined it would be on my wedding and even more!" - Louise
