Katya Hutter is a floral designer based in Amsterdam specialising in creating luxury and artistic floral decors for private clients, weddings & events and the fashion industry. Her style is lush, abundant and surprising. Her flower arrangements are seasonal and nature-inspired, with an artistic flair. Katya is greatly inspired by the wonder and beauty of nature.

Having spent many years as a fashion stylist, and photo producer, Katya has a refined sense of style and is able to create designs that are aesthetically pleasing; this undoubtedly adds a dynamic dimension to her floristry. Her floral designs are unforgettable and romantic, with every arrangement and display reflecting timeless beauty and unique personality of her clients. Seducing and sensual, her flowers are made to live the dream and to celebrate the special moments in our lives.

Professional achievements:

  • Katya Hutter Floral Design has been chosen as "Top Floral Designer of the World exclusively for the Netherlands" by the UK's No1 bridal magazine "Weddings and Honeymoons".

  • A leading Dutch floriculture magazine Thursd short listed Katya as one of  "15 female flower designers you want to keep an eye on in 2021" along with other 14 most interesting female florists of the world.

  • In 2022 Katya took part in a prestigious Design Fair in The Netherlands - Dutch Design Week. Her work was exhibited at Piet Hein Eek Venue.

  • Katya's work won 1st prize in bridal category in of Alexandra Farms' Garden Roses Contest in 2022 and has been selected as one of 10 finalists in 2021. 

  • Since 2021 Katya is a proud member of Homo Faber Guide, an initiative of Michelangelo Foundation For Creativity & Craftsmanship, which promotes European Craft and Artisans. 

Training:

Katya received her training in Aalsmeer, The Netherlands, in the very heart of the world’s floral industry and has received private lessons and master classes from a brilliant Japanese florist Atsushi Taniguchi in his flower school in Paris. Atsushi’s work has greatly influenced Katya’s ever-evolving style as she continues to refine her skills through continued study. ​
