Education
Katya’s floral design education began in Aalsmeer, The Netherlands, the vibrant heart of the global floral industry. Her dedication led her to private lessons and masterclasses with the esteemed Japanese florist Atsushi Taniguchi at his flower school in Paris, leaving a lasting imprint on her evolving style. Continuing her pursuit of excellence, Katya now refines her skills through floral design classes with the renowned English designer and educator, Joseph Massie, at his 'Flower Class' online school. Her education weaves a rich tapestry of expertise from across continents, forming the foundation of her inspiring artistry.

Here in the Netherlands, where my main creative studio is located, we have many wonderful local growers who cultivate some of the most beautiful flowers in the world. I often buy directly from them to ensure freshness and reduce the carbon footprint.
