Fine-Art Collection
Wedding flowers from the Fine-Art Collection are pure inspiration and a delight for the senses. Fine-art wedding flowers are both simplistic and sophisticated, often leaning towards neutral, organic colour palettes and soft pastels. The blooms used in these designs are finer, more fragile, and botanically inspired. Each bouquet or arrangement is delicately assembled, featuring some of the most stunning seasonal and locally sourced flowers. The techniques used in this style are eco-friendly, giving the flowers an airy, almost weightless quality. I always adorn my wedding bouquets with beautiful, handmade, naturally dyed silk ribbons.
Edwin & Nick Wedding Flowers
Our Lord in the Attic Museum, Amsterdam
I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Edwin Oudshoorn, a renowned Dutch fashion designer and couturier, and have collaborated with him on several styled shoots in the past. When he and his partner, Nick, asked me to create the flowers for their wedding, I was absolutely thrilled! This wasn’t just any wedding, it was a chance to collaborate with another creative mind, a true artist. Edwin is known for his boundless creativity and impeccable taste, and working together was a thoughtfully curated experience.
The three of us, Edwin, Nick, and myself, worked closely to carefully select the perfect flowers that reflected their desired style: natural, botanical, wild, yet elegantly refined.
One intriguing challenge came with the historic church venue, a 17th-century protected monument in the heart of Amsterdam, which also functions as a museum. Fresh flowers were not allowed inside, so we embarked on a creative solution: designing silk flowers that looked just like fresh ones. I’m delighted to say our efforts were a success, and the illusion of fresh blooms was beautifully achieved.
Colour Palette: a daring mix of white, yellow, peach, lavender, purples, and pinks;
Style: a captivating blend of natural, artistic, and elegant elements, with botanical influences;
Kind words:
"Dear Katya,
What you have made for our wedding is just incredible! Every floral piece was exquisite, and wonder over wonder, an incredible spring feeling, even in October! Exactly what we wanted but did not dare hope for because of the time of year.
We are so incredibly grateful to you that it is hard to express it in words. We have had such a wonderful day full of love and sit now in a sort of afterglow.
Many, MANY thanks.

Susanne & Jordi Wedding Flowers
Waldorf Astoria, Amsterdam
Susanne remains one of my cherished clients, a true source of inspiration with impeccable taste. When she shared her vision for her wedding dinner table decoration, a concept where flowers seemingly "grow" from the table, I eagerly embraced the challenge. Drawing from the artistry of Japanese ikebana, I arranged an array of exquisite Dutch and French spring flowers within small ceramic vessels, seamlessly woven together using the Japanese Kenzan technique.
For Susanne's wedding bouquet, she had her heart set on cascading tulips, a request that posed its own challenges due to their delicate, soft stems prone to breakage. To bring this vision to life, I sourced the finest French tulips from the renowned Aalsmeer flower market, conveniently located just a brief 30-minute drive from Amsterdam. With meticulous care, I arranged these tulips in a cascading manner, defying expectations as they remained resilient and flawless throughout the day.
For the ceremony, we decorated the garden of one of Amsterdam's most captivating canal houses, the Museum Van Loon, with premium Dutch ranunculus, delicate ranunculus butterflies and an array of splendid spring blooms, including my personal favourite, sweet peas. The evening at the Waldorf Astoria was a highlight of this unforgettable day, culminating in a dinner that exuded the essence of elegance and beauty.
Colour scheme: white, peach, soft pink, light blue and soft green;
Style: romantic spring, natural and artistic;
Kind words:
"Katya is an exceptional floral designer. My husband and I worked with her on our wedding florals, and I cannot say enough nice things about her and her team. As a corporate event planner for more than 15 years, I have very high expectations, and Katya exceeded all of them. Katya is a fantastic communicator, and I felt at ease with her from our first meeting. Katya is extremely creative, professional, kind and executes her floral designs flawlessly. She made our day magical with her gorgeous floral design, and we could not be happier. Thank you Katya, I cannot wait to work with you again!" - Susanne

Emily & Tjeng-wee Wedding Flowers
Slot Zeist, The Netherlands
My delightful clients, Emily and Tjeng-wee, drew inspiration from my Japanese-style arrangements and entrusted me with bringing their vision of romantic, natural, and opulent wedding flowers to life. For their celebration, I curated a selection of luxurious Japanese garden roses, the soft tones of dusty pink Café Latte roses, and the delicate elegance of pink sweet peas and their vines. These were beautifully complemented by gentle peach orchids and the refined charm of lisianthus.
Set against the stunning interiors of the mirror room at Slot Zeist, chosen as the ceremony backdrop, my floral arrangements wove a tapestry of natural elegance into the classical golden décor. The bridesmaids radiated youthful freshness, their bouquets blending harmoniously, while Emily, as the bride, embodied unmatched grace.
Color Palette: soft pink, soft peach, dusty pink, cream, and soft green;
Style: glamorous, natural, luxurious and abundant;
Kind words:
"Katya did an outstanding job with the flowers for our wedding. The entire process was handled with the utmost professionalism, paying close attention to even the smallest details. She has a remarkable sense of what can be achieved with elegance and style. The special flowers were delivered in perfect condition on our big day, accompanied by practical advice. Katya was a fantastic collaborator—flexible, solution-oriented, and always attentive to our wishes. Despite the busy schedule, she responded promptly to our messages and seamlessly incorporated the final touches and adjustments. Working with her was an absolute pleasure, and the result was the most perfect flowers for our wedding. I wholeheartedly recommend Katya’s artistic work to anyone!" - Emily

Mari & Rutger Wedding Flowers
Museum Van Loon & Pulitzer, Amsterdam
The story of this remarkable couple is incredibly touching. Rutger, a Dutch gentleman, traveled across the world to Japan to reunite with his love, Mari, who had taken the bold step of leaving her job to be with him. When they approached me, their vision was crystal clear: they wanted opulent, romantic, and unique floral arrangements. Their chosen colour scheme featured shades of brown, dusty pink, and peach, a true dream assignment for me! I handpicked over two dozen exquisite late-spring flowers, including Mari's favourite brownie tulips, Cafe Latte roses, lilies, garden roses, sweet peas, eremurus, and other premium flowers.
Their ceremony, held in one of Amsterdam's most beautiful gardens at Museum Van Loon, was the realisation of their dreams. The roses were still in full bloom, perfectly complementing the carefully selected colour palette. Following the ceremony, the dinner took place in the historic rooms of the Pulitzer Hotel in Amsterdam, where the couple requested a throne-like floral arrangement with an opulent, royal touch. I must confess, this wedding is one of my all-time favourites.
Colour scheme: cream, peach, brown, dusty pink, soft green;
Style: lush, romantic, natural;
Kind words: " Katya was our floral designer on the wedding day. Her flower art was amazing and all of our guests loved it! Katya never rushed and took her time for us. During the meetings her passion for flowers showed and it was such fun to talk with her. If we ever have an event again and we need flowers, we will definitely be asking Katya again." - Rutger & Mari

Paola & Peter Wedding Flowers
Landgoed de Salentein, The Netherlands
This wedding floral design was crafted for a Nikon photography workshop of a talented The Hague fine-art photographer Jose Chan. I'm genuinely fond of the delicate fine-art style, and used an assortment of fine blooms including spray roses, sweet peas, and lisianthus, along with complementary supporting flowers. To enhance this soft colour palette, I used my favourite seasonal foliage, Italian eucalyptus, renowned for its distinct soft color gradient that transitions from subtle green to gentle peach and beige, influenced by temperature shifts between day and night. The result? An utterly harmonious effect that perfectly complements this particular look!

Sarina & Randall Wedding Flowers
Orangerie Elswout, The Netherlands
This was the quintessential midsummer wedding, set amidst a picturesque garden with an enchanting al fresco arrangement. Botanical delights such as locally grown garden roses, sweet peas, and jasmine vines graced the scene, infusing the air with a divine fragrance.
My passion lies in garden-style and fine-art floral design, so when the bride, Sarina, entrusted me with crafting unforgettable wedding flowers for their celebration at Orangerie Elswout, nestled in the heart of a natural park, I was thrilled!
The delicate, locally grown German garden roses, Augusta Louisa and Romantic Antique, combined with dill, jasmine, and sweet peas, captured my heart forever.
Kind Words:
"Thank you for the beautiful flowers, Katya! And thank you also for the extra fixes and setup at the Orangerie. It looked stunning! It was a very special day for us. Thank you for everything!" - Sarina & Randall
