A Romantic Tulip Fields Elopement
Lisse, The Netherlands
I'm thrilled to share that our enchanting pink tulip field elopement has been featured on Style Me Pretty! This dreamy elopement, set against a backdrop of vibrant tulips here in The Netherlands, was a breathtaking display of romance and beauty.
The shoot came to life thanks to the flawless planning and styling by a leading US wedding planner and designer Britt Jones. Every detail was curated with elegance, creating a setting that felt like a dream. The incredible Photography & Film by Jayce Keil captured the essence of the day with glamour and endless beauty.
My signature spring bouquet added sophistication and charm, complementing the lush pink hues of the tulip fields. The arrangements blended seamlessly with the natural beauty of the surroundings, enhancing the romantic ambiance.
The stunning Beauty look, crafted by Jen Lagers, radiated timeless elegance. The Bride, Paola, was adorned in a charming dress by Made Bride by Antonea, radiating grace and charm. Standing beside her, the Groom, Peter, looked effortlessly stylish and every bit as radiant.
This tulip field elopement was a celebration of love in its purest form, where every detail came together to create an unforgettable moment. I'm honoured to have been part of this magical day and to see it celebrated on Style Me Pretty.
Kind words:
"Katya,
You knocked it out of the park. It was such a stunning creation. So lovely to work with you and hope to continue our relationship for future projects 😊
Hugs!
Best,
Britt Jones"

Mari & Rutger Wedding Flowers
Museum Van Loon & Pulitzer, Amsterdam
The story of this remarkable couple is incredibly touching. Rutger, a Dutch gentleman, traveled across the world to Japan to reunite with his love, Mari, who had taken the bold step of leaving her job to be with him. When they approached me, their vision was crystal clear: they wanted opulent, romantic, and unique floral arrangements. Their chosen colour scheme featured shades of brown, dusty pink, and peach, a true dream assignment for me! I handpicked over two dozen exquisite late-spring flowers, including Mari's favourite brownie tulips, Cafe Latte roses, lilies, garden roses, sweet peas, eremurus, and other premium flowers.
Their ceremony, held in one of Amsterdam's most beautiful gardens at Museum Van Loon, was the realisation of their dreams. The roses were still in full bloom, perfectly complementing the carefully selected colour palette. Following the ceremony, the dinner took place in the historic rooms of the Pulitzer Hotel in Amsterdam, where the couple requested a throne-like floral arrangement with an opulent, royal touch. I must confess, this wedding is one of my all-time favourites.
Colour scheme: cream, peach, brown, dusty pink, soft green;
Style: lush, romantic, natural;
Kind words: " Katya was our floral designer on the wedding day. Her flower art was amazing and all of our guests loved it! Katya never rushed and took her time for us. During the meetings her passion for flowers showed and it was such fun to talk with her. If we ever have an event again and we need flowers, we will definitely be asking Katya again." - Rutger & Mari

Victoria & Alexander Wedding Flowers
Amstel Hotel, Amsterdam
When Victoria approached me to create bespoke floral arrangements for her wedding at the iconic Amstel Hotel in Amsterdam, I was thrilled to bring her vision to life through opulent high centerpieces and a modern round wedding bouquet. I carefully selected the finest white garden roses, including the exquisite Alabaster variety, along with pristine white hydrangeas, luxurious orchids, and delicate baby's breath.
This floral decor, featuring clusters of roses, orchids, baby's breath, and hydrangeas, perfectly embodied the elegance of modern wedding design. Seamlessly blending with the grand classical interior of the historic Amstel Hotel, the result was an enchanting and magical celebration for Victoria and Alexander on their special day.
Colour scheme: white;
Style: modern and classic;
Kind words:
"The most beautiful flowers I could imagine for my wedding! My wedding bouquet's special roses (like a cloud of sweets and happiness) and the stunning table decorations were done by an amazing florist, Katya. The flower decorations underpinned the atmosphere of the wedding so well! She mentioned that typically people start discussing the floral arrangements a year in advance, and we managed to align in just a couple of calls from start to finish! Considering the timeline was quite tight, we were lucky that Katya was available and managed to arrange everything so quickly and passionately for our big day! From the moment I met her, I instantly knew that she is who I was looking for! Her taste, attention to detail, and positive vibe turned my wishes into reality immaculately. It was exquisite✨ Thank you for making this piece of art! I would highly recommend Katya to anybody looking for wedding floral arrangements!" - Victoria

Louise & Raymond Wedding Flowers
Waldorf Astoria, Amsterdam
A wonderful collaboration began when the lovely Sabine from Over The Moon Weddings reached out to discuss Louise & Raymond's wedding flowers. Their intimate family gathering at the Waldorf Astoria was truly heartwarming. I had the pleasure of meeting Louise & Raymond at the hotel before their wedding to get a sense of their vision and wishes. The color scheme they chose was exciting: soft pinks and corals for the ceremony, with rich purples and reds added for the dinner setup. For their special day, I selected some of my favourite garden roses, French peonies, sweet peas, and an assortment of other spring blooms and foliage. The ceremony, set against the stunning backdrop of the Waldorf Astoria garden, was filled with romance and joy. For the dinner, the vibrant red and purple flowers paired with light blue linens created a truly striking display. This particular tablescape has become one of my absolute favourites, I simply adore it!
Colour palette: soft pink, coral, red, purple, and lavender;
Style: natural, artistic, abundant spring garden;
Kind Words:
"Absolutely stunning! Katya is truly amazing, I was so in love with her work. The combination of the flowers and colours were so magical! Exactly how I imagined it would be on my wedding and even more!" - Louise

Paola & Peter Wedding Flowers
Landgoed de Salentein, The Netherlands
This wedding floral design was crafted for a Nikon photography workshop of a talented The Hague fine-art photographer Jose Chan. I'm genuinely fond of the delicate fine-art style, and used an assortment of fine blooms including spray roses, sweet peas, and lisianthus, along with complementary supporting flowers. To enhance this soft colour palette, I used my favourite seasonal foliage, Italian eucalyptus, renowned for its distinct soft color gradient that transitions from subtle green to gentle peach and beige, influenced by temperature shifts between day and night. The result? An utterly harmonious effect that perfectly complements this particular look!

Alannah & Victor Wedding Flowers
Chateau de Villette, Paris
This captivating styled shoot at one of Paris' most exquisite chateaus unfolded amidst the embrace of spring, when the most loved spring flowers bloom - the magnificent peonies. To add to this floral design exceptional charm, I selected the finest French variety, the sumptuous Bridal Shower Peony. These blooms are voluminous, radiating sheer luxury. Opting for a monochromatic approach, I arranged exclusively white peonies in a modern and contemporary manner. To add a playful touch for the ceremony, white alliums were introduced.
Our stunning couple, Alannah & Victor, graced the magnificent interiors with glamour and beauty. The peonies beautifully complemented Alannah's delicate features, enhancing her radiant charm. The entire experience was magical, resulting in an exquisite outcome that truly captivates. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to return to this chateau for future weddings!

Susanne & Jordi Wedding Flowers
Waldorf Astoria, Amsterdam
Susanne remains one of my cherished clients, a true source of inspiration with impeccable taste. When she shared her vision for her wedding dinner table decoration, a concept where flowers seemingly "grow" from the table, I eagerly embraced the challenge. Drawing from the artistry of Japanese ikebana, I arranged an array of exquisite Dutch and French spring flowers within small ceramic vessels, seamlessly woven together using the Japanese Kenzan technique.
For Susanne's wedding bouquet, she had her heart set on cascading tulips, a request that posed its own challenges due to their delicate, soft stems prone to breakage. To bring this vision to life, I sourced the finest French tulips from the renowned Aalsmeer flower market, conveniently located just a brief 30-minute drive from Amsterdam. With meticulous care, I arranged these tulips in a cascading manner, defying expectations as they remained resilient and flawless throughout the day.
For the ceremony, we decorated the garden of one of Amsterdam's most captivating canal houses, the Museum Van Loon, with premium Dutch ranunculus, delicate ranunculus butterflies and an array of splendid spring blooms, including my personal favourite, sweet peas. The evening at the Waldorf Astoria was a highlight of this unforgettable day, culminating in a dinner that exuded the essence of elegance and beauty.
Colour scheme: white, peach, soft pink, light blue and soft green;
Style: romantic spring, natural and artistic;
Kind words:
"Katya is an exceptional floral designer. My husband and I worked with her on our wedding florals, and I cannot say enough nice things about her and her team. As a corporate event planner for more than 15 years, I have very high expectations, and Katya exceeded all of them. Katya is a fantastic communicator, and I felt at ease with her from our first meeting. Katya is extremely creative, professional, kind and executes her floral designs flawlessly. She made our day magical with her gorgeous floral design, and we could not be happier. Thank you Katya, I cannot wait to work with you again!" - Susanne

Sarina & Randall Wedding Flowers
Orangerie Elswout, The Netherlands
This was the quintessential midsummer wedding, set amidst a picturesque garden with an enchanting al fresco arrangement. Botanical delights such as locally grown garden roses, sweet peas, and jasmine vines graced the scene, infusing the air with a divine fragrance.
My passion lies in garden-style and fine-art floral design, so when the bride, Sarina, entrusted me with crafting unforgettable wedding flowers for their celebration at Orangerie Elswout, nestled in the heart of a natural park, I was thrilled!
The delicate, locally grown German garden roses, Augusta Louisa and Romantic Antique, combined with dill, jasmine, and sweet peas, captured my heart forever.
Kind Words:
"Thank you for the beautiful flowers, Katya! And thank you also for the extra fixes and setup at the Orangerie. It looked stunning! It was a very special day for us. Thank you for everything!" - Sarina & Randall

Sarah & Ivan Wedding Flowers
National Maritime Museum, Amsterdam
Creating the wedding flowers for Sarah and Ivan’s wedding in Amsterdam was an absolute joy. The wedding was a perfect blend of elegance and sentiment, and every detail was carefully curated to reflect the couple's vision.
For the personal flowers, we chose delicate sweet peas in white and beige hues, adding a touch of warmth and sophistication. The ceremony featured lush garden roses adorning the chuppah and ground arrangements, setting a romantic, timeless scene.
The aisle and dinner tables were decorated with roses, sweet peas and anemones, an exquisite choice that added depth and charm to the decor. Despite being out of season in mid-July, my amazing flower supplier managed to source anemones. Their striking black centers perfectly complemented the custom table setting: dark navy menu cards, black wax-sealed name cards, and handwritten calligraphy added a touch of drama and style, seamlessly tying together the aesthetic.
Collaborating with Sarah on her wedding flowers was a delightful experience, her trust and enthusiasm made the entire process a pleasure. To make the celebration even more meaningful, we donated the flowers to a local charity after the wedding, ensuring their beauty continued to bring joy.
It was an honour to be part of such a memorable day.
Kind words:
“I worked with Katya for my wedding at the Maritime Museum in Amsterdam in 2024 and I couldn't have been happier with the results. Katya was so easy to work with and listened to my requests and understood the vision so well. I got so many compliments from the guests about the flowers and many guests took flowers home with them after the wedding. I would highly recommend Katya to anyone who wants high quality flower displays - big or small. Her passion for her job really shone through throughout our whole collaboration. It was such a joy to work with her. She styled the wedding and especially the chuppah set up in such a beautiful way. We changed direction a few times around the flowers and she adapted to this so well and was so easy to work with. Everything was so seamless and she brought so much positivity to the process and to the day.” - Sarah
